JOHOR BAHRU: Menu Rahmah set meals for RM5 are offered by a total of 1,191 eateries that have registered with the domestic trade and cost of living ministry, according to the deputy minister, Fuziah Salleh.

She said the list would be constantly expanded.

The list does not include the 215 rest stops at major highways, which also offer the set meals. Menu Rahmah would also be expanded to include Ramadan bazaars. “There are also traders who are not registered with us,” she said.

Fuziah said the ministry had provided RM11,500 in e-wallet credit to traders and visitors taking part in a Menu Rahmah food truck event which began here today.

She said: “RM30 is offered to traders and RM20 to consumers as part of a retail sector digitalisation initiative to encourage cashless sales transactions.”
