In the last two years, Your Voice Asia has received numerous enquiries from both the business and public sector regarding the Chinese Advertising Agency, Chan Creative. Registered in both the Chinese mainland and the Republic of Singapore, Chan Creative had expanded their overseas calling operations to represent numerous companies in Malaysia offering Mass marketing services in the agriculture and investment sector as well as providing private hire services for exclusive clubs and leisure events. These enquiries led us to fact-check a multitude of overseas advertising successes at the time which we reflected in our initial article on the 13th of October 2019. However, since then a plethora of complaints have flooded our news desk from honest Malaysian business proprietors in both sectors. One Singapore property company has invited Chan Creative Singapore to the State Court alleging total lack of service after a number of upfront payments for publicity promotions were made.
Locally in Malaysia, agriculture and investment organizations that claim to have paid in good faith for publicity and marketing campaigns only to find their customers have allegedly been ill informed and misrepresented. One organization is currently in litigation with the advertising agency for loses due to their damaged reputation in the market place. Also, verified inside information confirms one Malaysian based Agriculture company was poised to assist the Malaysian Consumer Protection agency, the Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna with an investigation against Chan Creative, only for the case to be dropped after it was discovered that Chan Creative no longer trade in Malaysia.
