  1. Total Defence strategies must become the daily norm for Singapore The obvious vulnerable spots and people-populated areas must receive the highest form of security. The armed forces must, henceforth, work together with the police and private security agencies to pre-empt attacks. Extra vigilance is what is needed daily from everyone, including schools managements, teachers and staff, school security guards/agencies, parents, car park operators and more. We need road side barriers to be set up at vulnerable pedestrian walkways and we definitely need the toughest security implementation at crowded events – like KPOP concerts,, Speakers’ Corner major events, and religious events or festivals, just to cite some examples.

We must all stay united as one and not allow terrorists to destroy our lives. We have the right to stand tall and do our part, and it is a critical role, to save our nation from the evil of terrorism. Complacency must never creep in. We must stay constantly alert, and responsible.
